Electronic Periodicals Collections

Note: To find periodical articles (some full-text), statistical data, and special reports on a particular topic, search one or more of the databases in the Research Advisor.

Use the following guide to find an article you already know is available in an electronic journal.

• Finding electronic journals owned by the Library:
  –Search for the journal title in GEORGE, the library catalog, using the Title search.
  –Click on "CONNECT TO ONLINE ISSUES" from the record.
  
  
• Browsing electronic periodicals collections:
  –See the list of providers (e.g., JSTOR, Project MUSE) available below.
  
  
• Finding the full-text of an article in a subscription database:
  – Use Journal Finder, a database which lists where a journal is available in full text.
  

A note about off-campus access
For most of these collections, access is restricted by the publishers to workstations connected to Georgetown University's campus network. The library is working with publishers to make more of these collections available from off campus. BioOne (see below), Ebscohost EJS, JSTOR, and Project Muse (see below) titles can now be accessed from off campus. See our off-campus access instructions.

National Journal group This group of databases provides very current news and analysis of politics, policy and government topics. The suite of titles consists of American Health Line, Congress Daily, Greenwire, The Hotline and Technology Daily.
