Georgetown University Provides Access to RefWorks


Georgetown University Libraries introduces RefWorks, a free service to Georgetown University students, faculty, staff, and alumni. RefWorks is an online research management, writing, and collaboration tool designed to help researchers gather, manage, store, and share information as well as to generate citations and bibliographies.

To Get Started: set up your account

  1. Go to: Remote Access RefWorks Login
    or type in http://0-www.refworks.com.library.lausys.georgetown.edu/refworks
  2. Choose Sign up for an individual account
  3. Create your account. You can create an account for you or your group. For group accounts or if you plan to share folders, it's best to NOT use a username/password combination from your Georgetown University ID (NetID) or Access+ log-ons
  4. When answering the questions, you have to use your Georgetown Email
