60 CD-ROMs Available from Faculty Offices From your office on campus, you can now use dozens of CD-ROM databases formerly available only in the Library, in addition to the more than 150 databases already accessible from the Library website. To use the nearly 60 CD-ROM databases, many of which provide full-text information, open "Application Explorer" or the "Novell Application Launcher" on your computer desktop and click on "Library CD-ROM Network." Please contact your UIS Academic Technology Coordinator (ATC) if you have trouble accessing the networked CD-ROM databases. (To find your ATC, see <http://www.georgetown.edu/uis/rcd/>.) Networked CD-ROM databases are arranged using the same eleven categories found in the "Library Indexes and Databases" link on the Library web site. For example: Art, Music and Theater For descriptions of all the Library's indexes and databases, including those on CD-ROM, visit <http://www.library.georgetown.edu/ indexes/index.htm>. If you have questions about using the databases, contact the Reference Desk at 687-7452 or at <http://www.library.georgetown.edu/forms/ask-ref/>.
