FINDING PEOPLE

Biography and Genealogy Master Index(BGMI) indexes biographical information for over 4 million people from the beginning of time through the present. References to over 2,100 volumes of over 700 biographical dictionaries are included. Each citation provides the biographee's name, birth and death years, the source publication, publisher, publication year, and miscellaneous notes. The Library owns nearly all of the indexed titles. BGMI is available through the Blommer CD-ROM Network, under "General Databases."
