New Furniture For Science Library Completes Renovation

The annual gift from the Blommer Foundation helped the Science Library complete the last phase of its multi-staged, multi-year renovation. The fall semester opened with the students and faculty greeted with all new furniture designed to accommodate computerized access to information.  Peg O'Rourke, Science Librarian, worked closely with the furniture division staff of Brodart, Inc., to closely match the new furniture to the oak woodwork of the circulation and reference desks purchased with Blommer Foundation funds the previous year and to design computer workstations and carrels best suited to serving our patrons now and in future years.
