1. Retry your search using keyword
search in GEORGE. Put words in separate
boxes or try variant
spellings.
If the book is not in GEORGE or is not
on the shelf, then...
2. Check the Washington
Research Library Consortium
(WRLC) catalog.
If an available item is found in the WRLC
catalog, click on
the Request button
at the top of the
record for that item
to order it through
the Consortium Loan Service (CLS).
You can also travel
to the owning
library with your GOCard to borrow
the item.
If there is no available copy at
any of the WRLC libraries,
then...
3. Request item through interlibrary
loan (ILL) .
Dahlgren patrons: Use this link for interlibrary
loan (ILL).
PLEASE NOTE: If a book is available
through WRLC,
an ILL request will
be returned to you
so that you may order
it via CLS,
which is much faster
than ILL.
If a book is available at Georgetown,
an ILL request
will be returned
to you. ILL will not
request books that
are available in our
library.
1. Search the JOURNAL TITLE in Journal
Finder to determine if the volume or
issue needed is available
at Georgetown.
If the journal is
not listed in Journal
Finder, then...
2. Search the JOURNAL TITLE in the
Washington Research
Library Consortium
(WRLC) catalog.
If an available journal
volume is found in
the WRLC catalog,
then click on the
Request button at
the top of the record
for that journal to
order the article
through
the Consortium
Loan Service (CLS).
You can also travel
to the owning
library to photocopy
the article.
If the journal volume
is not available at
any of the WRLC libraries,
then...
3. Request the article through interlibrary
loan (ILL) .
