Research Assistance in the Sciences

A science librarian is available at the Blommer Science Library Reference Desk from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday (except for University holidays) throughout the year. Assistance by phone is also available during these hours at (202) 687-5651. Georgetown University students and faculty may also request a research consultation to examine relevant resources and develop a search strategy for a topic. Call (202) 687-5651 or email sciencelib@georgetown.edu to schedule an appointment. At times when a librarian is not available for personal assistance, the Research Advisor is a good starting point. Research guides recommend indexes to journal articles, sources of background information, bibliographies, Internet sites, and other resources.
